What does certified mean?
Certification makes a document’s origin verifiable. Digital and paper documents use different forms of certification.
Keep the original digital file
The electronic seal belongs to the original PDF. Preserve that file unchanged; a screenshot or printout does not transfer the seal.
Check the receiving organisation’s requirements
The organisation requesting the document decides which format it accepts. Confirm this before applying.
