What should you expect after ordering?
Our service is independent of KVK and does not act on its behalf. For several products, our download links and the digital extract may arrive separately. Compare the message with your actual request and order number. If you made no request, investigate first. You do not need to confirm a payment or order through an unexpected link.
Threats and sender names are not proof
KVK warns that it does not threaten by email or text to terminate your registration and does not issue fines. These are specific warning signs. Even a displayed KVK address can be forged; inspecting the name or address alone is not a conclusive authenticity check. Do not open links or attachments when you distrust a message.
Check through a route you find yourself
Open the organisation’s website yourself or use contact details from your records. Do not use the telephone number in the suspicious message. For an order through us, open our contact page independently and quote your order number. KVK provides guidance and a contact route on its own website for assessing suspicious messages.
Missing document or suspicious message?
A missing attachment needs a different response from an unexpected payment or identification request. For an expected delivery, read the receiving and saving instructions. Report suspected KVK phishing through the guidance on KVK’s website. If you entered information or passwords, follow its steps for further help; do not buy a new extract to resolve a suspicious threat.
Check before opening anything
- Does the message match a request you actually made?
- Does it unexpectedly demand payment, data or urgent action?
- Can you reach the organisation using independently found contact details?
