Right of withdrawal
1. When you have a cooling-off period
If you buy as a consumer at a distance, the law gives you fourteen days to change your mind (Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code). Within that period you may dissolve the agreement without giving a reason.
If you order on behalf of a business or profession, you are not a consumer and this cooling-off period does not apply.
2. Why that period ends with us
We place your order with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce as quickly as possible. If you kept the cooling-off period, we would have to wait fourteen days before delivering.
That is why, before payment, we ask you to confirm one choice:
I request immediate delivery and understand that my right of withdrawal ends as soon as delivery has started.
By ticking that box you expressly ask us to begin at once and you declare that you waive your right of withdrawal as soon as that happens. This is the exception in Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.
Without this confirmation we cannot place the order.
We record with your order when you gave that confirmation and from which IP address. The confirmation email repeats the text, so you have it in writing.
3. There is a window in which you can still cancel
Between your payment and the moment we place the order with the Chamber of Commerce there is a short interval. As long as that step has not been taken, you may cancel and you get the full amount back. This stands apart from your right of withdrawal; it is an arrangement we offer you.
The status page of your order shows whether that moment has passed. Send us an email with your order number if you want to cancel.
4. Per product
Digital certified extract. The Chamber of Commerce produces the document and emails it directly to you. As soon as we have placed the order, delivery has started and your right of withdrawal has ended.
Company Profile and Company Report. These are documents we compile at your request. Here too your right of withdrawal ends as soon as we begin compiling.
Additions such as history, filings, group relationships and annual accounts. These are products of the Chamber of Commerce and the same applies as for the digital extract.
Paper certified extract. The Chamber of Commerce prints the extract for the company and the date you specified and sends it by post to your address. It is therefore a document produced to your specification that cannot be supplied to anyone else. As long as we have not placed the order, you can cancel under section 3. After that, the printing and posting cannot be undone.
5. If nothing has been delivered
The right of withdrawal stands apart from our delivery guarantee. If the Chamber of Commerce does not deliver the ordered document, we refund the full amount of that order line. You do not need to invoke a right of withdrawal for that. Report it at info@kvkuittrekselaanvragen.nl or through the button on the status page of your order.
6. How to withdraw, if you have the right
If you do have a right of withdrawal in your case, the following applies.
- Tell us within fourteen days that you are dissolving the agreement. A plain email to info@kvkuittrekselaanvragen.nl is enough, or use the form below. State your order number.
- The fourteen-day period starts, for a service, on the day after the agreement was concluded, and for a product on the day after receipt.
- We confirm your message.
- We refund within fourteen days of your message, using the same payment method you paid with. We charge you nothing for this.
7. Model withdrawal form
You do not have to use this form. A plain email with the same details is enough. Complete this form only if you wish to dissolve the agreement.
